Individual Soul united with the Universal Soul
Individual Soul united with the Universal Soul

We live in a dual world - sweet and bitter, good and bad, black and white, everything is a game of opposites that leaves no respite to the weakest minds and the most intense emotions. This duality is intensifying in recent times, exacerbating the opposites, with glaring lights and deeply dark shadows like in a painting by Caravaggio: humanity appears increasingly divided on either side of a barricade, as seemingly realistic as it is fictitious. And yet, and perhaps precisely for this reason, many are experiencing a sort of weariness in wandering aimlessly, together with the need, or urge, to find their inner center to gain the stability that allows them to rise above the chaos of the world and into the soul.

For those who seek the ultimate meaning of existence, which even institutionalised religions cannot satisfy, as they too are subject to the same dynamics, this Chant of the Enlightened One is of great comfort: whatever one's earthly condition, everyone is an essential part of an undivided and indivisible Whole, unlimited and present everywhere and in everyone.

No action or penance is necessary, no effort, no path. The individual being is the same universal Self. The same Self in the neighbour - “Love your neighbour as yourself”.

In this pure simplicity, every conflict disappears.
